Honor 5X and LastPass

I rely heavily on LastPass, and was looking forward to the fingerprint reader making that easier. Hoever I have discovered 2 issues:

1. The app-fill service keeps turning off after I enable it
2. LastPass' Settings report that the fingerprint reader is not supported on my device

Has anyone gotten LastPass working any better than me? I did try setting LastPass to be controlled by App Lock in Phone Manager, and that seems OK for getting LastPass to open with a fingerprint instead of typing the password.
