Which CID and ROM?

I've very new to all this, in fact today is the first time I've ever tried to do any of this, but I am trying to figure out which CID and ROM is best fitted for my needs. I want to put the phone on MetroPCS and want the 4G LTE to work, as well as do away with all the useless AT&T bloatware on the device. I'm a little hesitant to just jump right in because I afraid I'll brick my device. So far I've figured everything out with a few glitches, but I'd love any help y'all could offer!
