I have a regular usb otg cable which I have always used with my phone for things like my xbox one controller. However I have always thought that I wasn't going to be able to power my M8 while using the controller unless I have a powered otg cable. However I have recently learned that this is not the case and that a powered otg cable would only power the controller and not my phone. I was wondering, is there any sort of miracle otg cable that lets you power your device while using a controller? If not then is there maybe a custom kernel that I would be able to install that would be able to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
