New to the site. Device issues

I have a Pumpkin with the RK3188 (a9 1.6Ghz x4) head unit that I have loaded SuperSu to and put in the root password and loaded the "USB controller" app and I get the s3c host driver not loaded" error however most thing I plug in it sees and operates just fine. except so far one crucial device to my plan...

I am a ham radio operator and I want to use Pocket RXTX app to contorl my Yaesu FT-857 that is mounted in the truck (main reason I bought an android head unit) I would also like to use DroidPSK using the AV1 input and outputs to "talk" through the headunit to the transciver instead of using a laptop to other device as it needs head unit would be the encoder for the digital signals to be sent and to be the decoder on receiving them...

Using the USB Controller app I can see the west Mountain Radio Plug and Play device and what USB it is on. In linux it usually translates into a tty0 as a port to key the transceiver to transmit and tty1 control the frequency

I have also loaded a terminal emulator hoping that what little of my linux knowledge would translate however that has been minimal it seems. From here I am lost on how to get what I needed loaded and how to make it all talk and work.

It is a KLD unit and the rest of the specs I wrote down but left in the truck...

I do know it is one of the new units, no knobs and power button in the lower right with navi just above that.... I know more details would be better and will post them after a nap
