Mod 5.0?

Anyway to downgrade stock 5.0 to 4.4. Seams there isnt anymore support for verizon note 3 as compared to tmobile version which i use to own. I went to note 4 then 5. This is for my brother and after trying numerous methods to root/install custom recovery, either the links no longer work or the method itself do work on 5.0
Verizon phones are much more complicated to mod than others
