cant update twrp 2.6.3.0 from dual recovery to 2.8.7.0

hi friends, im trying to update this mobile to android 6.0.1 from stock rom current on .96 , I already unlocked the bootloader and rooted with twrp had various problems , but finally I managed to install the dual recovery but this version has v2.6.3.0 , I have tried to install v2.8.7.0 with terminal and adb shell, dd method with no success, the version doesnt change , I dont know what to do anymore, help :(
