G389FXXU1APD2 firmware for original XCover 3?

Iv'e noticed that Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 Value Edition comes with Android 6.0, while the "normal" one still uses 5.1.1 :( . Would G389FXXU1APD2 firmware (released for the Value Edition one) function properly on the "normal" XCover 3?
