Sorry for the noob question, I posted this on the Elementalx thread more than a week ago but it's still unanswered and I'm quite sure that the question has already been posted but I just don't have the time to go through almost 600 pages of info...to be able to flash this kernel is it necessary for my phone to be rooted? I know that I need a custom recovery and b/l unlocked.
And when I flash this kernel what's first, the kernel or the ROM? Links to the info are fine.
