AT Player is Giving out 100 Ad-Free Codes for XDA Users

AT Player is one of the most popular media players on Google Play, with over 20 million downloads. This music app has a unique twist that aims to change the way people listen to music on YouTube. If you are someone who doesn't subscribe to a streaming service and instead find yourself listening to music on YouTube, this app will dramatically improve your music experience.

AT Player previously has a paid premium version, but recently made all features entirely free. These include:

  • Music recognition
  • Sleep Timer (music player feature),
  • Lyrics integration
  • Bookmarks
  • Scrobbling

The app is ad-supported, but the AT Player has teamed up with XDA to offer you 100 lifetime ad-free codes to be redeemed on the Play store. Use the widget below to win.

Music Search and Recognition

The built-in search feature will help you find music from the many databases used by AT Player, while the music recognition feature will listen to the song that is currently playing, then pull it up immediately in-app.

Equalizer

Once you've got your song playing, you'll notice the app will generate a playlist of upcoming songs similar to the one you're listening to.

Offline and Online Modes

The app provides access to millions of music tracks from YouTube and provides a special player lock screen which saves power and prevents accidentals taps. While YouTube does not allow you to continue music video playback while the screen is off, ATPlayer has three solutions for this: YouTube music will still play while the lock screen is visible; AT Player's radio works when the screen is off; and you can still listen to local music, which of course also functions with no Internet connection. There's a five band equalizer with bass boost and reverb, which lets you tweak the sound of your music.

Online Music Recommendations Based on Offline Content

The app connects online and offline music, and it's possible to have both local and online music in a single playlist. You can even click the recommendation button for offline tracks to bring up corresponding/similar online tracks.

Dark and light themes

AT Player has a beautiful dark theme as a default. It looks great on and saves battery power for people using AMOLED displays. If you prefer light themes, you can toggle light and dark in the settings menu.

Floating Popup Player

AT Player uses the same floating popup player that you'd find in the default YouTube app. Multitasking with it is simple, and it's very convenient when gaming, texting and even during driving navigation. When it gets in the way, there is a special minimize functionality; the player popup can be closed momentarily, pausing playback. To resume: use the notification area or return to the app.

AT Player is a much better alternative for music listening vs. the default YouTube app. Try it out by downloading the app for free from the Play store and use the above widget to win a lifetime ad-free code.
