With the Google Pixel 2 colors and price leaked and Google Home Mini price leaked, some of you may have been wondering about the availability of these devices. We'll soon find out tomorrow in the big reveal by Google. For those of you looking to get as much information ahead of time as possible, a Reddit user by the name of FireYoshiQc has managed to get next week's flyer from Best Buy store in Canada which confirms the price of the Google Home Mini and shows availability information about the Google Pixel 2 in that country. What's more, it seems to suggest that the 80 CAD Google Home Mini will come free with a pre-order of the Google Pixel 2, at least on certain Canadian carriers.
The certain carriers that this offer is valid for, according to the photos posted by the user, include Rogers, Telus, Bell, Koodoo and Fido. What's interesting to note is that the advertisement also mentions that the colors vary by carrier. It may seem there could be carrier exclusive colors, or at least at first.
If you're unfamiliar with the current state of the Google Pixel 2, check out this article detailing everything we know so far. The price at launch looks fairly steep, but receiving a Google Home Mini for free with the pre-order isn't so bad. The device is not unlike an Amazon Echo Dot, which may entice some potential buyers.
Other than that, it seems we haven't really learned much else from the flyer. Even the photos aren't much more than what we've already seen before. We've seen the renders and we've seen the colors, which is all the flyer really shows. The only new information is the carrier partnership. Google may pull a fast one and surprise us all tomorrow, though, so stay tuned to our coverage of the Google event.
